I would be surprised if ASIC did not already know the situation with STT and VMS.
It has been common knowledge for some time now, with STT releasing the fact they were proud of what they had achieved by keeping the share price down to discourage investors.
If the share price had gone up sharply we all know what would have happened. ( ASIC to the rescue )
I am a little confused by the latest announcement !!
The suspension of mining that hadn't started. Surely they could have just stopped site works locked up the gear and waited till the appeal was over.
The announcement must have something to do with the appeal process, or getting public opinion on their side.
It certainly hasn't helped the long suffering shareholders.
