Hi @tooler, in my experience it's very important to read these announcements with a critical eye. I can certainly see how you (and others) have drawn that conclusion (100% BG), as the careful wording used in these announcements are designed to elicit exactly that response. All I'm pointing out is that AGY have never actually stated that they will produce 2ktpa of battery grade product. They've quoted target production of 2ktpa of lithium carbonate product. They then separately say that they've produced and shipped quantities of battery grade. It's important not to conflate those two points. I've looked back through past AGY announcements and it appears to me that they are all carefully worded that way.
None of this is to say they can't or won't produce 100% BG (however unlikely), I'm justing noting that they haven't actually said that they will.
