I've read people saying that LKE has a bigger market cap, etc. than AGY, & although the reasons raised are valid I think there is something else at play here. Many sharetraders are new to trading as they are copying what their friends have been doing since covid crashed the market, & they follow the trendy shares that their friends recommend on social media, forums, etc. - they don't really have any idea of the other lithium companies on the market, only the narrow view of what their friends are talking about. I too owned some LKE, but sold them to buy AGY after making a watchlist of all ASX lithium companies and shortlisting it down to AGY & another, with a few other possibles.
I reckon a lithium company that is about to produce is worth far more than any company that is just talking about it. I'm expecting great things from AGY in the very near future, and strong growth after that as well. I'll reconsider LKE when they are closer to production as the shortfall in lithium is massive, & it's true they are gearing for production, but for the moment it's AGY all the way for me. So onwards & upwards and may we all become stinking rich very soon.
