Spot sales in China are fetching circa $70k/t. Sure, these are relatively small volumes.

IIRC, Simon Moores from BMI reckons if buyers can get product for $35k-$45k per tonne over the next 3 years, they'll be doing well i.e. that will be cheap.

Contracts are in the ballpark of that pice now (e.g. see AKE), so no reason that we can't see say $40k/t for our product, or even $70k/t in the short-term if we sell some pre-contract at spot pricing.

Prices have moved upwards very quickly, so pointing to the average pricing for 2021 is not that relevant anymore.

As far as the longer-term price goes, it all depends on basic market forces, and "old" estimates may be irrelevant also, considering the supply/demand outlook that has been presented by many analysts and commentators.
DYOR but I reckon GS's claim of $16k/t in 2023 is unsubstantiated fear-porn BS.

Have you done some numbers on various pricing scenarios for our 12ktpa operation?
    How did they look..?
