There are many here that are “down” far more than that since that point also, yet unlike the pip-flipping traders, we don’t fret about the small waves when we know which direction the tide is moving.
I’d bet some here would sh!t their pants if they had daily six-figure swings.
IF that buyer plans to hold for say 6-12 months at least, then imo they will likely be “up” $300k-$500k+ by then. Not a bad return imo. In hindsight was there a “better” way to buy? Sure but that’s looking backwards. They could have bought 10 times as many for the same $$ only a couple of years ago too! Risk appetite etc etc..
Umming and ahhring over a pip or two is seen by some as ignoring the forest for the tree.
Only time will tell of course, and I have no pity for any traders trying to churn pips and getting eaten by the sharks.
