Friday -
Person A - "how about we meet at 10am next Thursday?"
Person B - "yep, seeya then"

Thursday 8am
Person A - "hey, you still on for 10am?"
Person B - "yep! Looking good. Seeya then"

10am
Person A - "Hi. Just arrived. I'm in the corner up the back"
Person B - "ok. I'm 5 mins away"

Then, at 10:45, person B arrives...

Can't you see, that a meeting did eventuate. But that it was outside of expectations, even after the repeated responses person B gave person A?


I'm a supporter of AGY. No doubt there.
I just detailed, in my previous post, that someone's word should mean something.
The goals have been pushed back. They didn't have to be. If the company gave a conservative estimate in the first place , but then exceeded it, imagine how much better that would look to all and sundry.
