Um yeah, agreed. Not really sure what your point is though, as I didn't say that AGY will be tapping into retail investors. But while we're on the subject, skittish retail investors can certainly effect the overall funding picture, particularly if they collectively drive down the SP over an extended period. Lower VWAP can potentially result in a lower offer in the event that the potential partner wants an ownership slice, thereby increasing dilution even further.
Since you raised it, do you think a DD advisor would provide an independent report to a potential investor that doesn't include tech grade at all?
And on your final point, please don't take the big boys chipping in as a sign that a project is viable. A40, AJM, LKE and VUL have all had significant institutional investment from a who's who of the investment banking world. Two of those failed outright, the other two look pretty shaky to me.
