The only really sad thing is that you still have this misconceived notion that a company's targets and expectations are somehow "promises".

Such a misunderstanding not only clearly illustrates industry inexperience, but it is likely a mechanism by which a person can feel they can deflect responsibility for their own decisions, when things don't work out as they have been "promised".

Everyone needs to complete their own due diligence and analysis in line with their risk appetite. This continual "blaming" and insulting of the company via claims of "broken promises", for not exactly meeting some anticipated timelines, is utter nonsense.

Again, do you have ANY experience/expertise/background in the resources sector?
ANYONE who does will tell you that there are NO promises, AND that anticipated timelines and budgets FREQUENTLY overrun.
If you don't expect this, and fail to factor it into your decisions, YOU are to blame, no-one else.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with your so-called "excuses on behalf of the company" (what nonsense); it is merely the harsh reality that you clearly do not comprehend or appreciate, and I suspect that you prefer "promises" so that you can project blame onto others instead of doing the hard yards to learn and understand ALL relevant factors.
