I didn't say that at all, did I Truffles? My point was simply that the general consensus seemed to be that we had already moved beyond the public consultation phase which was occurring in April 2023. Therefore celebrating a hurdle that was presumed to have been cleared already seems illogical. If I had mentioned a week ago that AGY still had additional public consultation requirements, I would have likely faced relentless ridicule from those who were emphasising that all that was needed was Romy's formal approval of the EIA.
I understand the desire for positive developments to grasp onto, but this situation is pretty laughable. Amidst all the excitement about a town-hall meeting, several other missed deadlines have been overlooked. I suppose that was JZ's intention, so I should give him credit for his little sleight of hand. Or of course it could just be that holders are conditioned to understand that JZ's guidance is meaningless.
