If you're on this forum daily, it might not be apparent, but fundamentals are slowly but surely improving:
Election of Milei sees Argentina become a much safer jurisdiction - who remembers talk about nationalisation of lithium resources? What about that huge increase in taxes that lithium producers faced? Totally off the cards now.
MRE upgraded, showing a viable resource that can support future expansions.
Despite the negativity, today's announcement means the 10k expansion is now a simple formality away. "No submissions lodged prior to regulatory deadline date nor objectionspresented by local stakeholders during Public Hearing meeting". Perhaps some vindication for the Mining Secretary too - An easy target for frustrated holders, but I don't think anything nefarious was going on.
There are a couple more goals that need to be kicked in the near term. If achieved, AGY will find itself in a pretty enviable position once the lithium market recovers, which has already started to occur.
