Riding something all the way into the ground just makes you a proud baggy mate. I prefer to preserve some capital, and am not too proud to admit that I got it wrong and should have sold sooner. The fact that all of my exits have been above the current share price tells me that the decision to exit at those price points was smart, regardless of the loss. Holding on would have just resulted in a much bigger loss (my average exit price is 21 cents, versus the current SP of 13.5 cents).
