No anger at all mate. I'm merely pointing out that "doing your best" isn't necessarily good enough. It's clear that most aspects of the Rincon project have been a "best effort" by various teams that just weren't up to the job. Whether it's the inexperienced drill teams, the inexperienced corporate negotiators or the flawed system designers, I always seem to hear "they're doing their best" like that's some sort of panacea for repetitively doing a shit job and then attempting to rectify it.
I'm glad to see they got the team in from Italy who actually know what they are doing, but that would have been preferred at an earlier stage, wouldn't it? We've had to pay to bring them in anyway, so we might as well have called in the experts at the start, and could have saved some CAPEX along the way by preventing system design flaws/inappropriate equipment.
