Nobody has the expertise to consistently produce battery grade from brine at more than about 50% of throughput. If efficiency isn't important then you can just keep reprocessing it and if it's a seller's market then whatever, but that's not what Puna is going for. They want to know how much product they'll have and so do good buyers. If PA had gone from a DFS based on test tubes to a 25ktpa plant there'd be bigger bottlenecks than this.
A few months isn't bad to get experts on site; they can't get Amazon or Doordash to deliver.
