As you've pointed out, commissioning was meant to take four months. As at 03 Jan 23, construction was 98% complete and commissioning was 90% complete. Almost a year on, and it's still not sorted.

Construction and commissioning of other lithium production operations in Salta Province are on schedule (Eramine at Centenario Ratones and POSCO at Sal De Oro). They've shown that construction in the same remote area can be achieved on time and according to plan, provided proper planning was conducted.

Construction of AGY's 2 ktpa plant took twice as long as planned (almost two years), but setting that aside, commissioning is still well and truly delayed. I think we're past the point of blaming COVID and supply chain delays, as other companies in the same area seem to manage these challenges just fine.
