    Oh and the whole concept of “free carry” is a fallacy that investors use as a coping mechanism to compartmentalise missed gains, whether they were realised or not. Having liberated all of my starting capital, my entire portfolio is technically “free carried”. It doesn’t make it any less painful to hand back a couple of mill in unrealised gains.
