How absurd to say that if a person was not trying to get themselves into the position of running the company themselves they have no reason to complain about anything! I think anyone who isn’t a vegetable or completely dishonest can accept that management failed the don’t overpromise and disappoint’ rule. Sure, a mistake here or there is forgivable but you can scarcely find any case of AGY doing (attempting to do) anything without overpromising in the extreme.

I tell you one thing I’d have done if I was running the show - sort out the filtration issues years ago in the pilot plant. The literal purpose of the pilot plant was to get the method sorted out so they knew what they were doing and could commission the production plant properly. I was puzzled that they never got the pilot plant to nameplate capacity, foolishly assumed they knew what they were doing, emailed Jerko about it and he told me they’d learned everything they needed from it and I was stupid enough to figure he knew what he was doing there and that my concerns about potential problems remaining unknown because we didn’t ever push it to full capacity were unwarranted for reasons I was unable to see because I wasn’t there on site and am not an industry expert. Turns out, Sdaji, a biologist with little relevant training or knowledge would have done a completely obvious thing which would have resulted in the issue being sorted out much much earlier. If they’d wanted me as an advisor I’d gladly have taken the role, heck, I literally emailed Jerko for free and tried to raise the issue years ago. Even if it would have been a considerable expense to get the pilot plant running to capacity, we had the permit to do it years ago and it would have meant nameplate production at the 2,000TPA plant much earlier and we’d have at this stage already been producing large quantities for some time rather than announcing that we just received new cloths which we’re going to install and hope they work.

Trying to defend someone by saying ‘well, you didn’t do it’ may be relevant in a workplace where you literally could have done a job but delegated it to someone else, but is a ridiculous defence in a case like this. Company directors are not above scrutiny, and it’s fair to say AGY has established a track record deserving of some valid criticism.

And also, saying ‘you should sell if you want to criticise’ as a defence/deflection is just as stupid so don’t do that.

One thing is valid criticism, another thing is not meeting one's expectations.

99% of you think the world runs like australia. Most of you haven't lived overseas nor dealt with foreign companies dealing with their foreign companies. Let alone administration.

I don't need a recital of the bible as a response. I can spend all day waffling on too.
