The selling and the ability to grind the price down is a massive issue, but it's not the only, or main, issue in my opinion.
I think the main issue is the lack of buyers as the share price has fallen.
Even at 12c the company isn't attractive to anyone with deep pockets that would like to take a position.
The shorts can do this because it's apparent the company doesn't know how to solve this production issue, and the latest update gave them the information they need to ramp up their efforts.
