Take note that the responses are not addressing the actual company or issues etc, they are either ad hominem attacks ("join us or join therapy"... really?) or hyperbole about the virtues of patience or speculation that there's something going on at the scene which we don't know about (desperate/fanciful much? Don't you think if there was actually some great developments they'd be telling us about them rather than washing cloths and fixing a cooling system?) or suggesting that I'm making accusations of lying (in a legal sense, no, I'm not claiming they're lying, but hey, if you can't see they've at the very least established a solid pattern of stretching the truth to the absolute legal limit, you're blind).
Anything to avoid facing the clear reality that this is going sub 10c in the near future. Anything to pretend there is some magical reason to be optimistic about if only we were on the ground to see it. Anything to try to discredit the person saying the thing, even if you have to literally stoop to suggestions of therapy or using Dr. Seuss quotes about patience or talking about the bakery (nothing wrong with making jokes about the bakery, but if that's all you have, it's not a good situation).
The reality remains, they have have a track record of not meeting targets, they have a track record of carrot dangling, they have provided no reason to actually think production is likely to ramp up and their best two reasons offered are blatantly absurd, there is a CR on the way (we literally have seen them prepping for it!) so they will be desperate to pump and carrot dangle between now and the CR trading halt.
You don't need to read between the lines here, all you need is to not blindfold yourself and turn away from the giant neon sign. Honestly, at this point the most interesting thing about this conversation is that it serves as a case study of how willfully people can believe something despite clear evidence to the contrary being abundantly evident, and how they behave in that scenario. It's like pointing out a literal elephant in the room and watching everyone find bizarre ways to say it's not actually there, and accusing the person pointing it out of being the crazy one. It really shows how strongly some people will believe what they want to be true rather than what the actual reality says is true.
The more detached people are from reality, the more they hate anyone who speaks about reality. Just wait for the CR trading halt and see how everyone addresses me!
Yeah, I sold out for a little over 17c, yeah, I could buy back in now for 12.5c, but when it's clearly going to drop below 10c in the short term and all signs point to it going lower in the medium term, why would anyone want to buy? Unless you have a desperate hope of it skyrocketing within a few months of the CR and you're concerned about tax, why would you want to hold?
