linux operating system. worth a try

linux is supposed to be a lot safer than windows. ages ago, i loaded SUSE linux as an operating system - but what a pain that was - took for ages to load up etc etc - so back to window, using other browsers etc (i have only just discovered tab browsing). anyway i have been playing around with puppy linux - and in the end, got it working from a usb flash drive - and well worth the effort. puppy linux comes with everything - even with a floppy disk boot installer - i spent ages trying to work out how to get a small linux on a flash drive etc etc - but puppy linux makes it all so easy. a small 70mb programme holds more than enough of everything - it includes two web browsers - one which is lightening fast, and is a mere 500kb in size - however, it does not open all pages - in which case, another browse handles those pages

well worth playing around with - especially for web surfing
