Re the continuous operations. Many processes have setups where the entry and exit can stop/start but the main process runs continuously. We may have a bog standard batch filter press with a tank or a membrane filter press that runs continuous. Either can maintain a continuous process.

In my experience it's continuous as long as the main process can run continually.

I'd like to see someone else write the announcements. Someone who can use a spell checker for a start, be original not copy/past and then articulate the context and progress in a way that it doesn't have to be deciphered and usually assumed the worst or at least ammo for the trolls.

Chat GP could probably do a better job.
