I won’t give AGY management a free pass just because “I couldn’t do it better myself”. I hand over my hard earned money because that’s what AGY management are paid to do (develop the operation and create shareholder value).

I may not be able to do it better, but there are certainly other management teams who can create shareholder value much more effectively than AGY can.

Ultimately it’s just important to remember what “target” means in the AGY playbook. It’s aspirational, and more times than not it is missed. Therefore whenever you see it in a release, err on the side of caution and assume it’s bullsh*t.
