A few different mini pilot plants using different tech that costs around 250k to 350k each to build and set up on site, should have been used over 1 to 2 years to identify a economical way to extract the Lithium from the brines, and only after a few years of lab tests were done, when this did not happen over the past 7 years, it was a clear warning sign of what was to come, and the question is why was these procedures not followed before going into production with a larger plant.
There was a lot of jumping into something before doing the long hard work with testing the brines first, something that I have always been very critical of and why I have only stayed invested in one lithium brine stock that has been doing what I want to see happen first before making the final decision to build a production plant.
Slow and steady wins the race, AGY just jumped to many procedures I would have followed early on, they just went to fast.
