Well I am not smartarse enough to say I am certain. But the reaction suggests to me that the market perceived some takeover possibility that is now gone with RIO having virtual control of the tenements under this agreement. Not saying there are not both good and bad aspects to this news, if I am right.
Might bode well for ASR, BYH, and some others? RIO will not be interested in just one little license - they are a large scale player that probably wants to be in on the so called ChrisGina SQM game.
