Another way to look at it is that AZY has gone from a 100% interest in Calibre to 49%. AZY may need to start sharing the cost of exploration in Calibre if RIO chooses not to sole fund going forward. RIO now has a stake in this asset which it could transact and recoup some/all of it investment.
The real news will be Winu and whether RIO is sufficiently interested there to develop up into a mine. I suspect there will be a mine, the question is whether it's RIO or another entity. That news is probably not too far away.
