Correct. But the Ai they use also can read announcements and pick out positive and negative words or phrases. So the AI will become cleverer as time passes. They also stack the buy and sell side with small positional trades across a range of values that can be changed in milliseconds. Over time Retail investors are getting screwed and the regulators are turning a blind eye. If you can find a gem of a stock before the mad crowd ascend, you might be lucky. Make hey while the sun shines.
Many years ago the ASX was involved in regulation. Now they are in it for a profit.
