For those who do not hold RIO shares, but would like to buy a minimum (say 100 shares) and then sell them under the off-market Buyback offer, the last date to acquire them is Tue 26th Sept, to qualify. May be of interest to those who do not pay tax, and are able to utilise the Franking credits (Retirees or SMSF's in pension mode for example). Please read the announcement carefully.
