The value of a well written contract can't be overstated. It doesn't matter how good the operation is... If the Victorian contract isn't on point, we have no chance. Santos gas projects getting disrupted is a great example around Australia. Victoria has recently been divided up by Vic gov and the government no longer has the power to make decisions. They are useless. All native title claims are 100% federally funded. A bottomless pit of money for lawyers. We gave govt powers away to 'tribal clans'. Who ever is in charge of this contract is certainly cyl's most valuable player.
