Its called a contract. They will/should have had some (clearly lax) binding terms in it. Come on dude? Don't guide for it if you can't be confident of it.
I don't really want to continue talking about it myself to this extent, but if you insist on being obtuse....Its actually (quite rightly) in Australian Securities Law for companies NOT to make unfounded guidance for future business outlook unless it can be substantiated.
We (holders) all want ASM to succeed, and I'd have sold out if I did not believe they won't eventually, but this is clearly poor executive business performance by their own explicitly business output guidance measures.
