Been watching the Ukraine/USA rare earths “agreement” process. Ukraine allegedly has 5% of global Graphite resources (as shown by work completed tens of years ago) but because much of Ukraines energy infrastructure is not only damaged, but not built for mining, the money necessary to extract it (and time, and presumably sovereign risk) is considerable.
Europe going for this deposit makes it more likely they will succeed. Not sure many agree with that so far, SP below 6cents in recent trading) but hey ho, could be an interesting ride.
