Its been a long time. Saturn Deeps was never mined. Only Saturn open pit. I may be mixing it up with something else, but I think the Saturn Deeps drill hole at the time may have been funded or part funded by the WA government.
At the end of the day, there will be a few more Hill 50 repeats. Hill 50 will certainly need a lot of remediation to fully access, so probably cheaper to partially remediate and build a drive across to repeat BIF structures. If repeat structures are close enough to the remediated sections of Hill 50 mine, they will probably make a drill cuddy and explore from down there if feasable.
