I did ask about Orion based on analysis I did on drilling data. DT basically agreed that Orion and Grants are unlikely to be stand alone mines in their own right - my interp and wording. Doesn't mean Orion won't swell at depth and require re-evaluation.

Orion is proof of concept for further exploration for a potential small to large? clan gathering that, from memory, needs to reach some 20 Mt as a threshold to be potentially economic.

Preliminary auger results (XRF only to date) are encouraging.

Awhile back I put on a post about DTs pragmatism. It showed up recently with the southern block of tenements applied for near Abra. Apparently DT had some experience in the area and a few unanswered questions. They pegged the ground did some ground truthing of their concepts and promptly withdrew the application.

For the northern block at Bresnahan further exploration is planned with a pragmatic approach, = dropping ground, if results do not support concepts. One aspect may be the low Dy Tb content you mention.

The length of your posts, and mine, are a luxury that is not readily (?) open for company announcements. They have to be concise while trying to cover a wide range of data (without impacting the SP mainly on the negative side). Ditto for 15 minute talks. A team gathers data that gets crunched down and presented. Generally going to be the more positive aspects - best sections, grades etc and not just DRE nearly all companies.

Data available to non company analysts - armchair HCites - is, of necessity, partial. Are there fatal flaws (Brent Cooke terminology+link) apparent?
I hope your are not correct in the many holes you (and I) pick in DREs announcements. These, and others, will be covered in ongoing studies that will be made to take any of the multiple projects further.

One area I would take issue with you is the ironstone drilling. The fact it was not mentioned beyond Yin does not IMO downgrade their importance. So much to say in the talk and subsequent discussions they (ironstone drilling and other issues) get sidelined (like Illaara...). I assumed the ironstone drilling as perhaps a lower priority than the Carbonatites but with 4 rigs on site for much of the year definitely not a negative.

There was a flurry of posts about what number, if any, to apply to the kilometers of iron stone strike. Some used the Yin MRE divided by 3 Kms which IMO is going to yield an exploration target that is probably going to be too high.
As the strike length of drilled ironstone increases some range may become more realistic. However, it is unlikely to ever be universally applicable. Viz Yin Central thick deep mineralisation over some 3-500m and near adjacent zones with poor intersections that can not be readily predicted at present,

Blind men and elephant analogy is probably applicable. If the ear can't hear then is the elephant defunct? How do we know it can't hear? Studies.

Poor folks who choose to wade through these long posts. One liners don't cut it IMO.

Churchill is quoted as saying an hours speech takes 5 minutes but a 5 minute speech takes hours. To condense the above would take a lot of work. Apologies.

REE's are a new field for me and the majority in the industry, so your input from what is a more informed view is welcome by me if not many on this forum.
