'Insider Trading' is such a dirty and abused sounding phrase. Wo betide anybody tells an MD leaks could come from their staff, likely to get glassed for the insult. Yet share prices correctly predict results of ASX juniors so well,so often, have done for so long, that on balance of probabilities usually someone said something to someone and the rumour got legs.

Given it could be one of so many people in the know, being caught giving a nod or a wink is so unlikely to bring trouble it almost encourages people to do their family or friends a favour. i mean, it's going to leak anyway, so...

Doesn't change the situation for long term investors, just means the news is prices in slowly ahead if release instead of gapping up or down.
