Wayne spoke really well IMHO. I also liked how respectful he was of the other explorers in the Murchison (which... are all neighbors and all finding more gold). In some ways... if you look at the companies he mentioned, their combined exploration spend for 2024 might be north of $40-50m. The biggest beneficiary of this is likely to be Westgold, with 3 centrally located plants.
I also liked his view on exploration..."it's an investment, not a cost".
Really looking forward to seeing what they drill bit finds and the 5 new targets alone the Great Fingal trend (WB seemed genuinely excited about it).
1 rig is down there and will start drilling them out this quarter, so hopefully we will start hearing about any success in the June Q.
Agree @jbad94, about internal growth, but...I am still quietly confident that WGX will do a deal with the likes of MEK to ensure they can fill the Bluebird mill in the near term (though what the deal will look like is yet to be seen). Just makes sense and would be very beneficial due to the high POG.
I imagine that we will see a full exploration update in a 1-2 months and more regularly as the drilling programs start to really gain traction (Cheers WB).
