Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think there is any more reason to believe a capital raise is coming based off today’s presentation?
The MEL presentation noted gas prepayment options were currently under review. The VEN presentation also stated “presales gas agreement to fund Cooper Basin operational and appraisal actitivities” as an upcoming catalyst for the company. We know VEN management appointed a financial advisor to pursue capital through means that won’t dilute shareholders further. A capital raise may still be on the cards but I’m sure management are trying to avoid going down that route again as much as possible. Especially after the bad timing of the last raise.
