Gold was around these levels for 3 months last year and as low as USD1540.I am not predicting where its going but the consensus amongst the major financial organisations around the world varies from 1650 to 2000 for 2013 with volatility in the market.
I think its going to be very difficult for juniors not mining to raise cash.There is some suggestion the gold supply will dwindle and demand particularly from China and India will pick up.It appears central banks are still buying and new countries are appearing as buyers.
So who knows but maybe this panic selling of Slr will reverse if gold holds and rises above 1600 again.
