DRILLING OF NICKEL-COPPER SULPHIDE TARGETS – UPDATE
- Drill programme extended:
- Additional drill holes planned to test new EM conductors
- Geophysical surveys underway at West End ahead of drilling towards the Ida Fault
- Further drilling to be planned following a review of ongoing DHEM survey results
- Drilling of EM conductors will commence this week
IMO The previous set of drilling was to investigate possible extensions to the strike and extend the line of drill holes westwards along the Cathedrals Belt to the Ida Fault. This is all new ground with the DHEM surveys then done they can start the next stage of drilling. The last announcement 9 april 2019 said drilling of EM conductors was starting. Remember we ase looking for the main ore body of nickel sulphides not every hole will find Nickel. I believe we have been very lucky to date with the drilling, partly due to the decisions made on where to drill being based on the use of good technology and very experienced management with a good understanding of the geology.
Having said all that you are right an announcement is due in the next week or so.
