re: Ann: RIU Resources Roundup Conference Pre... Hello Ned and FML / HC friends,
I refer you to slide 10 of the RIU Roundup presentation to answer this question. The tenements you refer to are M15496 and M15497 owned by St Ives. They are on strike from St Ives direct. To the west of the new FML ground you have AQG (was AVO) in the corridor and very attractive ground also.
The more important issue here has great significance however. FML have taken control of a highly important slice by capturing the granophyric horizon in the initial tenement. They have bought the important piece of the structure which is bang on the Boulder Lefroy Fault. TI is on the shale which is high carbon, further west is basalt, to the East of the shale at the other side of the Island is where the major contact lies between the shale and the dolerite on this world class fault.
This contact to the north includes on Paddington (3M oz), further up the Golden Mile (50M oz) and it extends right up to Bardoc. The dolerite changes with more silica and iron as you move from this contact for a distance and is unusually thick (150M) in this exciting tenement holding.
Dean / FML have made the mapping public now and you can see the extent of the targets in this system, however most of us non geologists cannot understand what we are looking at.
The vein sets are within the dolerite, this is significant but drilling is required to see exactly what is there.
I still look forward to results in future with excitement and have not sold a share. I have bought more since my report. I hope this covers your question Ned, and helps the HC readers on this thread to understand this a little better. I have to go for now - so can't comment further but thanks for the question. I am working on another report at the moment and keeping up a significant output to keep my members informed in this interesting phase of the market.
Best regards,
CW
