A question in my mind is, will this 'windfall' have any bearing on the merits or otherwise of the proposed merger? From what I've read, Ashok,on the HRZ Board has been endeavoring to get mining underway for some time but has been outvoted in his attempts in the past.Winds are now in his favour.However, the merger as it stands, if it goes ahead, will gift unearned and unjustified 'performance' shares to the current GSR Board. Representing a complete travesty of the rationale behind them.
In sum,what needs to be done to prevent the issue of performance shares to the GSR Board, yet allow the merger to proceed, if its in our favour?
And, if by lack of support the merger does not proceed,can we trust the current GSR Board to get their act together? I have grave doubts on that score.
