Yes mate, the type of gap you're referring to is a 'full gap up' and what I'm referring to is a 'partial gap up'.
In my experience partial gaps fill almost as often as full gaps.
Although because full gaps are much easier to spot on the chart they almost become a self fulfilling prophecy, so their close rate may be a little higher.
One thing that you will see with a full gap is the initial move will be much stronger. What that translates to later I guess will depend on each individual stocks story.
*On a side note - RGL had a very strong day today and finished above its short term resistance.
Hopefully resistance now becomes support and translates into some bullish gains for holders.
