On the topic of cash collection, the on-line shopping platforms including Tmall.com and JD.com use on-line payment platforms such as AliPay and WeChat Pay. On-line payments is a tightly regulated industry in China. These payment platforms require end users (eg. shoppers) to link their accounts to their Chinese national identity cards and to their bank accounts and/or credit cards, all of which must be verified (this is a government mandated requirement). For RLG it means there is minimal payment / credit risk as the counterparty that RLG faces is AliPay or WeChat Pay. Cash collection is almost a given, which is reflected in the rapid collection of $5m in the last quarter.
