This is a stock for which I made a fundamental investing mistake some years ago (that mistake was selling it because I misunderstood the rationale behind a certain acquisition that was made - which ended up being a facilitator of growth (and not a distraction, which was my interpretation).
It now looks like an extraneous event is causing the company to be offered to investors at half-reasonable valuation (not cheap, mind, but at least no longer at nosebleed valuations).
But - based on my thinking that we will be experiencing negative real interest rates for a long time to come - after the sticker shock of the current bout of rate rises has passed (which it will within a few months), very little of quality will look conventionally cheap.
