You say you don't get the point and then you say the post was misleading
- suspect you get the point and realize the risk of your action in early acceptance.
Not accepting the offer has some risks, however the larger risks MAY be in accepting the offer at this early stage.
You think the game is over:unlikely.
The point is clearly not to accept an offer just because a company tells you to accept.
It needs to be evaluated on its own merits and most will agree that its a low ball offer.
Just read the ASX announcement of 21 April carefully:
"ALL CONDITIONS UNDER THE OFFER WILL BE WAIVED ONCE RAMELIUS' RELEVANT INTEREST IN BREAKER REACHES 50.1%"
Now they are in a rush to transfer all shares that were signed over so that there's no going back,
Ramelius is free to make a higher offer without any obligation to those who have already accepted. They are saying this loudly and clearly.
Chances are that we'll see a new and sweeter offer once the dust settles.
You also failed to address the issue to the sensitivity to the gold price. That's up for debate but it is still a point of contention.
Hope you don't get diddled but don't you wonder what GS are up to?
