From my experience , all things being equal I would prefer a inferred resource that looks from my perspective and calculations to be lower quartile for cost than something in the top 50% for costs that is in reserve status and calculated by a professional to JORC standards.
Yes maybe my ego is too big but my back of envelope calculations seems to have worked for me for many years , while at the same time I have developed a scathing contempt for many brokers and so called professionals in the mining industry based on their failed projects that in reflection should never have gone in production despite positive BFSs at the time , and have ended up with destitute shareholders and still fat cat directors .
