Correct.. the term rare earths is often said to be a misnomer. Certainly the lights arent particularly rare. But the heavys are very very rare. With Northern hopefully getting up and running it could potentially be a processing option which could facilitate monetization regardless of size. I think the extra ground really expands the target size and potential in reaching critical mass.
I bet no one can name 1 heavy rare earths producer (not counting pilot plants). Hell I dont think anyone can name another HREE company other than Northern
ARU - light
HAS - light
LYC - light
SG1 - light
ALK - light
NTU - heavy
If you want to see what sort of premium is placed on HREE look at the retracted SG1 announcement
