Makes perfect sense to me. I rent, and have no intention of buying for the next 5-10 years. Getting the right neighborhood is critical. Even just finding out that traffic noise might be an issue 24h. Some buildings are well sound proofed, others not. Spending a few nights highlights issues that might be intolerable over time.
Plenty of fully furnished rental properties - although probably more student accommodation or business focused rentals.
I like that Bader is talking of bringing some of iinet's approach to customer relations to RNT and this seems to be good evidence of that. I don't think it will drive huge $, but it's value is in customer experience.
