Based on all information released and video interviews of Simon, my understanding is that Roam-E is more of a personal camera companion that is mostly intended for selfies and limited social settings....ie. selfies, group pictures, gatherings etc, and not intended for more intense experiences such as having it follow and record you when skateboarding, skiing, surfboarding etc (similar to the Lily drone), hence where the Roam-E Pro would come in.
