Australia is a significant market to us for obvious reasons, with most of our competitors showing scant regard for the local market. We want to be number 1, and have a multi-faceted approach to provide the best leverage for us to do so.
I will say that the combination of import duties and distribution/retail margins in Australia do not provide Australians with the most competitive pricing (just a general comment). Hopefully our shareholder discount (keep an eye out) will help to offset some of the cost!
There are also a few elements for us to consider with regards to retailers in Australia, including their payment terms, discounting, co-marketing requirements, and returns policies.
But your point is valid. And something that we are actively working on!
