I remember hearing MT state they want to time everything to get the best price for their graphite they have. 1
If you look at demand and supply of anode predictions there is a massive deficiet starting in 2025 that increases on going.
If TLG was spitting out 100k tpa. of anode today, we wouldnt be making the same margins 5 years from now. MT knows this well and im sure is trying to maximise the value of his own holdings long term.
As everyone though would love to hear commentary on the DFS in the near future, have a feeling though we wont hear much untill a JV is agreed too.
