Quadrant at some stage will get around to letting CVN know what the deal is... a progress report at the end of the day. If CVN then believe there is sensitive information that needs further clarification they'll call a trading halt. They don't necessarily have to have a trading halt eg they find out Monday at 8pm that there is no oil, they let the market know 8am Tuesday morning and the shares trade as per normal.
Some companies like to call a halt during logging but its not a requirement.
