Given the background of the technical members of the board, and the part they have played in the formation and running of oil companies over many decades and the recent appointment to the board of Peter Moore (who led WPL's worldwide exploration team) I imagine every sort of scenario is now being canvassed by the JV.

The JV has the money, the expertise, and a drill under contract and on station to have a very close look at all of the above posted possibilities and to then connect the dots in what might turn out to be something very large and exciting, never forget it was TJ who was instrumental in the purchase of these leases way back during the GFC very cheaply, if the JV has to overrun the free carried USD70m, CVN has the funds to pay it's 20% share with ease, so let's settle back, give management space, and watch what happens over the next few weeks.
